Custody and Visitation were merged into a Parenting Plan.
In Florida, a Parenting Plan is ordered to tell where each minor child will be for each day and night of the year. This document can be made by the parents in an Agreed Parenting Plan, or it can be dictated by the judge in your case.
Agreed Parenting Plans are preferred by the judge. The judge will review your Parenting plan to see if it is in your child’s best interests. It will be included in the Final Judgment. The parenting plans and contact schedules are included in each paternity action and in a divorce action with minor children.
